Village Global is Hiring a Marketing & Content Coordinator
About Village Global
Village Global is an early-stage venture firm chaired by Reid Hoffman and backed by some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs. With $500M AUM, Village leads seed rounds in the most talented founders in Silicon Valley and beyond.
Village Global HQ is a small team of high performers: entrepreneurs, operators, authors, and community builders. We work hard because we’re passionate about increasing entrepreneurship around the world. You’ll have a front-row seat to learn from some of the most exceptional founders and iconic business leaders in the world, and you’ll widen your personal network dramatically as you help build the best network in tech.
We also produce a podcast network that includes the Village Global Podcast, Recall Sessions, and Worldbuilders. These shows are a central part of how we share ideas, build relationships, and extend our brand. They generate a growing body of content that we repurpose across social, email, and long-form channels.
About The Role
We’re hiring a Marketing & Content Coordinator to keep Village Global’s content engine running day to day. This is an execution-heavy role where you’ll ship content, coordinate production, manage external partners, and build systems that make the work faster and more consistent over time.
You’ll work across social media, email, podcast production, and portfolio engagement. Some days you’ll be drafting a LinkedIn post about a portfolio company’s latest raise. Other days you’ll be coordinating a podcast recording, packaging clips for distribution, or pulling together the monthly newsletter. The through-line is that you’re the person who makes sure content gets out the door, on time, on brand, and at a level of quality that reflects the firm’s high quality standards.
You’ll report to marketing leadership and work closely with our investing team, external editors and designers, and portfolio founders. You’ll inherit a set of tools, workflows, and templates that have been built over the past year. Your job is to run them, improve them, and eventually own them.
Responsibilities will include:
- Content creation and distribution across social media, newsletters, and long-form channels. You’ll draft posts, write copy for clips, and make sure Village Global and its investors are showing up consistently online.
- Podcast production coordination for our network of shows, from scheduling and guest logistics through editing handoffs and episode launches.
- Portfolio storytelling: you’ll coordinate with portfolio companies around announcements and milestones, and help tell the stories of the companies we’ve backed.
- Community engagement, including event recaps, founder communications, and internal content that keeps the Village Global network connected.
- Systems and contractor management. You’ll oversee external editors, designers, and clip producers, and maintain the workflows and tools that keep content moving without bottlenecks.
- Other Marketing-related projects and tasks, including but not limited to SEO/AEO, website optimization, copy-writing, gifting and more.
The Ideal Candidate:
You’re an ideal candidate if:
- You have 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in content, marketing, media, or operations. You might come from a startup, a VC firm, a media company, or a more structured environment like consulting or tech where you learned rigor and are now ready for something more hands-on.
- You can write. You can draft a sharp LinkedIn post, a clean newsletter, or a compelling email without someone rewriting it for you.
- You follow the startup and venture ecosystem because it genuinely interests you. You know what’s happening in AI, fintech, and enterprise. You follow the real-time conversation on X.
- You’re operationally strong and can manage a production calendar, coordinate across multiple people, and keep contractors on track without dropping balls.
- You’re comfortable with AI tools and use them in your day-to-day workflow. You’re curious about how to make your own work faster.
- You have judgement. You can tell the difference between a post that will land and one that won’t, and you fix what feels off before someone has to tell you.
This Role is Likely Not a Fit if:
- You want a strategy-only role. This is hands-on, every day. You will be the person writing the post, coordinating the recording, and sending the email, not directing someone else to do it.
- You need heavy direction. There’s support and oversight, but you’ll be expected to move work forward without waiting for detailed instructions.
- You’re a specialist. We need someone who can flex between writing, production, coordination, and community engagement, not someone who only wants to do one of those things.
- You’re not already using AI tools. We expect everyone on the team to be curious about AI and actively using it to work faster and better.
Remote in a U.S. time zone required. In-person work on the West and East Coasts will be required at different times.
